She's too old to drive. People need to give up their license at a certain age; maybe 90, maybe 95. I dunno.
The bottom line is old people kill young people every day. I understand their freedom will be affected but I think killing young people and children is more of an inconvenience than the old person losing their right to drive.
Taxi's and busses are everywhere now. Shuttles need to be set up for people going town to town or just be driven by a friend or relative.
i'm thinking involuntary man slaughter, but since the driver did not have the motorcycle endorcement he should have not been on the road. and before you lam blast me i'll bet that what the da said. i feel for the couple.
This isn't much different then the "Left turn MURDER" where driver's of cars receive forgiveness for their inattentiveness as they kill motorcycle riders.
No doubt she'll be back at the casino in a few days.
I have been a Police Officer for over 25 years and have meet a few A$$ Holes cops out there..... with that said ND and SD are the worse I have ever met. I am very sorry but of the few I met, I have no use for them. They go out of their way to mess with motorcycle riders and leave the hard core bad asses alone (cause they may get hurt......) Every time I hear stories like this LE screws with the riders...... It's like it's unlawful to ride there.
It really is a shame that I like Sturgis so much or I would Never enter ND or SD again.
May she RIP and God look over her husband and friends. Be Safe JIM
I got nothing. Unfreakingthinkable. How do you give her a ticket for "crossing the center line"? Lets see, Reckless driveing, causing an accident, causeing a fatality, yup, she's good. I wonder which cop/state offical she was related to?
