That's a particular "model" S/E head. It has a round chamber and requires a particular set of pistons. I have been told by someone far smarter than me, that they are not that great on anything less than a 103" build. On 103's & up, they are supposed to be really nice heads.

Never heard that one before. I have 95" with the complete HTCC setup and it has some pretty good numbers. See below.

Those are admirable numbers indeed, Greg.
THe point is that the HTCC heads is supposed to "really shine" on the bigger motors. The S/E "Performance Heads" are really nice on 88 & 95" motors.
I got 100/100 out of a 95" with far less cam (37G), far less compression (9.7:1), and only a $300 inventment (BigBoyz) in a set of stock heads.
Lucky for all of us that there are plenty of options and different ways to achieve what is best for each of own respective rides!
