Just talked to the service writer at my dealer about my '06 Street Glide's speakers. I'm on my second pair and now these are starting to rattle just like the first pair did. The SW said that they are telling owners to get 'Sony Explode' speakers to replace the OEM units...about $60 from Wal-Mart, a much larger magnet, and they bolt right in. Can anybody confirm this information?
Spend a little bit more and get the Hogtunes speakers! I like Sony decks, but never liked their speakers.
