My digital oil temp/level gauge stopped working so I opened it up to see if it was just the battery.
It wasn't.
Battery replacement did nothing to bring it back to life.
What I did find is that the circuit board inside it has no vibration isolation at all, and although mine didn't leak oil on the engine ....... it did have oil residue all over the electronics.
IMHO: This is a device that is a good idea, but unfortunately ............ not built for the environment in which it is designed to serve.
IOW: ......... It's a wallet lightening POS that totally sucks ........
