Default oil temp?

just picked up a oil temp dipstick ,whats normal operating temps ,or should i ask whats a dangerous temp i want to avoid thanks guys.

I think around 200 is normal

I threw mine in the trash years ago! It started to ruin my enjoyment of the ride. Just sayin'

There's been a lot of talk on this issue. I've seen 230 degrees in the hottest time of the year and I believe that's not an issue. It is kind of fun to watch though.
