Where are the Street Glide guys? They probably all like the hidden brake light. It looks nice but............
I have the 2013 Street Glide and I HATE the way HD changed the brake/turn/signal into one unit. No one can tell when I'm signalling a turn, so I upgraded the lights to LED and although brighter most of my riding buddies still inform me they cannot tell when my blinkers are on. So I picked up a pair if amber LED lights from Custom Dynamics that I mounted to the fender filler area that gave me back the bright amber signal lights I really wanted.
Went to Sturgis this year and saw many bikes with different light setups and the best I saw were the rear fender filler being a BIG/LONG signal light. That was the best and brightest I saw from the 1000's of touring bikes I saw at Sturgis.
Question to forum members; does anyone know where to get these aftermarket Fender Filler Signal Lights from?
I did the Custom Dynaimics install all the way around. It did take a load equalizer but it wasn't hard to do at all. Below is the link to the post with pictures. I also have the run/brake in my luggage rack. Its pretty dam bright now.
