Question Neck Adjustment???

Okay I got the manual and am going through it. Steering seems a little tight so I go to the chapter on neck bearing. It say to raise the bike and pull the bars back to the left stop and let go. Well when I do this it goes to center and stops. No swing to the right and back. Am I missing something here?????????????????? Manual says it should swing 3 times........

Before you touch the bearing. Get some high temp grease and fill the neck through the fitting.

I still have grease coming out of the lower neck bearing from the 1000 mile service.

Mine does the same also but I have added heavier speakers, amp, and HID lights. So, the weight is different, which affects things...

I would be interested in what you find out.

Do you notice any symptoms while riding? Does the steering return to center? Does it alternate between pulling to the right or to the left? What are you noticing?

To do the test correctly you have to unhook the clutch cable & other things, read the instructions again & what are the symptoms as asked above.
