Default Ultra Limited 103"

A new guy with a quick question. I currently ride an '05 RKC but am considering a new Ultra limited. Is the 103" a bored out 96" or does it have a different crank (stoker kit)? What will it take to make a 103" a 110"?

Thanks,
Mike

Forget the 110, not worth it. cases have to be bored. Just change the exhaust system including header add cams and air cleaner and have tuned. mike

The 96" is basically the 88, WITH the stroker crank already in it. (ok, lots of other changes, but as far as basic engine configuration) thats why its a 96, instead of 95 (what you get going big-bore on a 88)

When you add the bigger jugs to a 96, you get the 103 you would get if you added both the jugs and stroker crank to the 88.

The 110 takes it further, and I agree, thats a major tear down (like what doing a 103 to a 88 is/was) and I would not go there. (Id go to a 107 big bore kit with the stock crank first)

Be aware, the stock 103 in the Ultra limited, has the stock cams, and is pretty de-tuned compared to what you would get by doing an "after the fact" stage 2 hop-up. Don't expect the same power. Yes its a 103, but with tame cams, restricted intake, and a EPA (weak) tune.

I've got my 5000 mile service scheduled on my 103" and plan to change exhaust to loose the cats and go with Woods TW6-6 cams; fuelmoto stage 1 air cleaner; Power Commander V w/map for my mods provided by fuelmoto....give them a call...they'll set you up....!!
