Default Thinking about apes

Alright well yesterday I took about a 400 mile trip on my street glide and got really sore in my shoulders and back between my shoulders. I have never had this problem before even on 1000 mile trips. Right now I have wild one 575 bars but im looking at getting Ape's probably the Yaffe monkey bar 12 inch.
So my questions are, How do you like them if you have them? Is it more comfortable on long trips? and post pictures if you got the Yaffe's or other brands. By the way I am about 5'10 do yall think the 12 inch apes will be good?

i have done the 10" PYO bar on my Ultra. One thing is sure that you will like it!!! It's more comfortable than the OEM for riding and you will discover the wind on your fingers which is a good thing when it's hot (today 33°C)

To finish, your glide will look better with

hope it help

I have Wild1 12.5 bagger apes, I use to have low back pains and they have cured that, now on long rides it's shoulder pains, my belief is tall bars are easier on the back worse on neck and shoulder however when my neck or shoulder gets sore I can ride with 1 hand and it stops hurting, when I had shorter bars and my back hurt there was nothing I could do for it

I am 5'8 and I went with 12 inch Monkey Bars. Much more comfortable. No more pain on my shoulders.

Properly sized & shaped, they can be VERY comfy.

I researched for a LONG time. I finally choose a set of 1.5" Sweeping Beaters BR Customs. They are KICKAZZ!!!!

Every set is custom made to YOUR size & spec. You can get them chrome, powder coated, or raw and with or w/o internal wiring.

Check them out here:
