I just leave mine on all the time, if nothing else it warns you things are hot

Question here....I went from the V-rod to an Ultra and granted there is no comparison in the amount of heat generate but how did folks like the Shriner's and anybody else that used their bike for a lot of parade action ever get along?

It's a wonderful thing when it's operating. I can tell it's in 'parade mode' because my RK sound goes from sounding like a lawn mower to sounding like an air compressor and I notice the heat disapating right away. One warning though, I have found that if I dont get the idle up when the stop light turns green, pulling away on one cylender will stall the engine causing an imbarasing mid intersection restart!
