I cant get the light on the cruse to come on at all I turned the ignition switch on. switched the run button to run. turned the throttle FWD but nothing lights up on the cruse switch. I turned the cruse switch on and it stays red .
Hold the throttle fwd for about 8-10 seconds...you'll see the cruise light turn green. This indicates parade mode is activated.
If it still won't come on, reset the ignition...then try again.
I have had mine running and have done it, just has to be in neutral, turn throttle forward for bout 10 seconds and cruise light will come on. Parade mode is now turned on...
Sheesh, make me glad I have an older scoot. No electronic cruise control, no alarm, no dead key fob batteries to have to deal with. Eight and a half months of trouble free riding. I expect that to continue!
Don't mean to sound stupid but what is parade mode, is that when the bike goes to runnin on one cylinder when it gets hot. Guess I need to read the owners manual better.

Now I know, just didn't know it was called parade mode. EITMS in the manual. Okay, I had to take it upon myself to see which mode my bike was in and it flashed red so I attempted to do what the manual says and tried the same sequence again by goin thru the switch to on etc. Doesn't work, you have to roll the throttle again while ignition still on to engage the mode and get the green light.
