You just get the right sized lasagna pan that will slide in there.

I bought the J&S jack and also bought the oil drain pan and the handle.

The jack is money very well spent, my Street Glide is very stable on the jack. No worries at all when rolling it around.

The drain pan goes right in when the jack is fully lifted. I have found it to be worth the money though as H_rn states an aluminum pan may work too. I just prefer knowing that a pan I wedged in there is going to tip over an spill.

The handle works very well and is held into the base with a quick pin so it comes out easily if it is in the way. Could I roll the jack hanging onto the bike to do so, yes but I prefer the handle.

I would certainly buy the J&S if I had it to do over again and for the few bucks the options cost, buy them also as they just add to the benefit of the jack in my opinion.

Wouldn't get it without the pan, not sure what they're talking about hard to put on, it's way easy to slide on. Catches all fluids. T handle not needed.

I've owned my J&S for sveral years and wouldn't be without it. I don't have the pan or handle but I might order the handle soon. It wasn't available when I bought mine.

I have the j &s with the oil pan, it works really well. The oil pan will fit on perfectly as long as you lift the jack all the way up. If you try and stop part ways up the pan wont fit.

If it's your neighbor in NW AR, I'll come get it today and bring him cash money.

I don't have the J & S but I do find that the T handle is a handy option. As others have said, probably not necessary, but nice to have IMHO.

As for the oil pan option I think the J & S has the same type of "H" braces that I have. So it's basically free to rig up a simple shelf that'll hold an oil catcher. I just used this piece of 1 in plank and screwed two "c" shaped brackets on the underside so I can hook those under the cross brace and let the shelf cantelever out as a wo0rk table.

It's my NY neighbor. I've been working in NY since mid May and will be binging the jack back down to Arkansas next Saturday.

I was getting ready to order either the J&S or Pit Bull but they both have too long lead time for what I needed to get done this weekend, so I ran over to Sears and picked up a Red lift thinking I would use it for this job and then make my mind up between the J&S or Pit Bull.
But I gotta tell ya ... this Craftsman red lift is a lot more stable than I though it would be at less than $100 out the door (with the tie downs .... and a kid there even loaded it in my truck for me) and I'm rethinking spending any more "beer money" for either J&S or Pit Bull.
Heck .... it works a lot better then I though it would ... as a matter of fact ... it works just friggen fine!!

J&S jack is terrific, use it for all maintenance and cleaning. I use the oil pan and it works great, when jack is all the way up, slide into place. When done draining all three holes, spray a little brake clean, wipe off, good to go. Don't have the T-handle, jus hold onto bike and roll into position. Might be okay, but have not found a need for it.
