I got a set of the official HD deflectors for my 03. Looked at them, did a dry run, the holes do not line up on the right side and figured it was going to be a nightmare putting them on. Looked at the left side came to the same conclusion. Did some web searching -came away with basically the same conclusions. So to heck with it, Will not put them on. Life is too short for the hassle and frustration I can see, although I am teed of at yet another Harley product that does not work or is boderline. Will order a set of RJ's
...Also, if you don't care for HD's version of the heat deflectors - here's a good after-market product w/high recommendations: http://www.rjsoriginals.com/
Nothing but the best for my baby! Heck, It will take you longer to walk out to the garage and take the seat off than it will to put these deflectors on! Best part about them is they work! Also he markets a product called Bike Shades that go over the driving lights. They sort of redirect the light and do a great job of enhancing the look of yer scoot, and improve the forward lighting of the stock spot lights.
