Fuel light stuck on?????

Fuel light stuck on?????
A week ago I changed out the backlight for the fuel gauge...afterwards my low fuel warning light (located on the speedometer) and my fuel gauge shows full all of the time (even when it is not). The gauge that shows miles to empty is also showing ------. I've checked my connections and can't seem to find the fix. Any suggestions????

Got it working...
I figured it out...turned out that one of the tri-prong male ends located on the back of the fuel gauge was bent and was going into the middle of the female plug instead of in the correct hole.
