Don't miss "Rhodes 17 north", a very biker friendly bar and restaurant in Sloatsburgh. Usually find about 60-70 bikes in the "Bikes only" parking lot. Nice clean place, great food, great bar with live music. I go on Sunday afternoons with the wife, music starts at 3:00pm. After you leave you can take the road through Bear Mtn. State park over to the Bear Mtn. Bridge. The scenery is second to none.

Actually you can forget western MA and CT and just stay in the Hudson valley of NY, and then keep due North as go to Lake George and then fruther north to Lake Champlain, and almost all of this is very nice riding. At Lake Champlain you can find a boat crossing the lake to VT, and that is a fun ride with your bike on board.

If your in VT, head on over to Mount Equinox and ride Skyline Drive. I think it's like $10 for a motorcycle, but IMO worth it. On Rt 7A between Manchester and Arlington.

If you are going to hit 100, take Brandon Gap route 73 to 100.
The ferry is at Ticonderoga, north of Lk George. It's a nice change of pace.
