I find it very pleasurable to read stories involving good customer service and from a company that seems to genuinely care about their business and reputation.

Thanks for sharing all the positive remarks, good to know there are still some good companies out there.

I seem to be in the minority as I like my stock windshield, but if I were to be in the market for one, I would definately consider them.

Wow, same story as BlackPearl#1. Ordered an 8" Ultra from LRS on July 1 & received July 6th. Fast service with the holiday weekend involved.

Shield is in perfect condition. I look over it by about 2" and I do get some buffeting at 55+mph. However, I believe this is mostly from the wind coming up from the top of the lowers since I can feel the wind blowing just over the top of my helmet. I'm 5' 9" inseam approx 31".

Had a 10 regular flip ordered off ebay. More turbulent than the standard 12 inch. Has a mess of very fine scratches and was not very clear. Add said new. Tried it a while. Threw it away. Got the half moon 9 inch. Does a better job for me.

I too was an early test mule for LRS X Stream. I'm in Australia and Matt worked with me through the ver 1 and 2 fitment issues. Very responsive, nothing was too much trouble and LRS did not charge me shipping ($30).
Very happy with the shield and the service.

V@Evo96 I like the look of the X Stream what size did you go with and what is your height/inseam, and how does it effect the air for a passenger? Happy wife, happy life.

Neweb--I went with a 10" and with the stock seat on the 09 I am looking about 2.5" - 3" over the top. The wind flows just over the top of my head-- no buffeting or wobble at all on me or the front end of the bike.
Just for a test I put the stock shield back on for a ride and couldn't wait to get the X Stream back on.
I can't comment about passenger comfort yet having had no one else onboard.
My inseam is 32" and I'm 5' 10".

I have just ordered the 2010 stock seat to replace the 09 stock seat to lower me about an inch so the shield should be even better then.
Verry happy with the X Stream but would like to try a flip just to see what it's like.

Cheers and ride safe.

Default With Wife on board..

OK we just did a quick run over to door county WI and back over the weekend. My wife is 5'1" or 5'1 1/2" if you ask her. She rode comfortably the entire 700 or so miles. I think i could have easily went with a 9 or maybe even a 10 inch because I never even came close to cooking thru it. As previously stated, my wife is top dog priority for me when I ride and I love to have her along. The happier I can make her, the better.. Again I am 6'0" and have a 32 inseem. I sure hope this help someone in making their decision. Take care, ride safe

Consider yourself lucky getting your LRS so quickly. It took 5 weeks to get my Clearview windshield.

Glad it worked for you and your SO. I got the 8" LRS Ultra as well. Had the wife on the back Saturday and went on the interstate. She told me she had to hang onto her glasses or they would have blown off. She is 5'7" and I'm 5'9". Wind is just hitting the top of my helmet and making my head buffet slightly. After going through the windshield process on my wide glide (and finally riding without for 8 years), I'm convinced now that the only way to do it is to buy big and look through it.
