I had a power curve with Bassani slip-ons, not real loud. Removed baffles out of curiosity, really loud, too loud for the local cops. I have Bassani sweepers on it now, very happy with the sound and performance. Just quiet enough to slip past the law but fairly rude when you hammer it. BTW, old guy's don't like wrapped drag pipes on baggers

So, what exhaust system is the most obnoxious of all?

Thanks everybody!
AWWW, cmon FOGG, Fess Up,
the real reason you want to sell the Rocker is cuz folks are saying, Hey, Nice Bike...is that your wifes?"
(just yankin yer chain)
true duals on a street glide will give you what you are looking for. just get readdy to swallow about 1500 to 2 grand for pipes, air cleaner and fuel management system, and Dyno Tune.
Good Luck in your adventure

Im suprised nobody has mentioned a D&D Fatcat with loud baffle.. performance, noise and a very will built system

BTW: motor work will make any system louder - its all about flowing air

+1 on the Big Shot Duals or Boom Cans, to bad most locals that don't enjoy the life style we do and are voting on loud pipe restrictions. First its Jake Brakes now our pipes.

I just sold my third fatboy and moved into the touring world with a 2010 Streetglide. My previouse fatboys all had load exhaust (d&d drags, long shots briefly, big radius, and rhineharts). I wanted a load pipe and performance for the SG, so I did all sorts of research and everybody was pointing me to rhineharts for performance. I didn't want to go that way because it seems like every touring bike had rh and I wanted something unique. After listening and looking around I thought I was set on the VH big shots. I went into the shop decision made, cash in hand, and ready to go. After telling them what I wanted, one guys said he had big shots on his RG and changed them out because they became to obnoxious and drowned out the radio. Another mech had me look at a tourer with them on, and the small pipes looked weird handing on the bottom of the bags. Long in short I decided on the VH headers (true duals) with 4" Carriage Works twister slip ons with black end caps, big sucker ac, and thundermax auto tuner. When I first heard the bike fire up, I thought awww sh*t, I just spend 2200 for that. I was hoping for a louder idle but it did have the deepness I was looking for. When the mech cranked the throttle back it growled and came alive. He drove out the driveway and down the main drag for a test ride. When he opened it up.....wow it was loud!! I could hear it for blocks. It wasn't the high pitched drag pipe load but a deep throaty loud. I couldn't be happier. When I ride, through all speeds (20-120mph) I can hear the rumble but its not overbearing. When I let off the throttle, I get a deep jake brake rumble as it slows. When I crack the throttle in traffic or on the city, people know I am there. I am glad I didn't go with anything else. And the performance is equal to the rhineharts.

I had them on my SG ... to me they were not that loud (less then gound pounders, radius....etc) It was just different to have all sound coming out right there. Even other folks didn't think they were that loud.

I just put the Python Mambas full system on my 2010 Street Glide, and they are pretty loud as well. It was around $675 for the system, but by the time I got out the door with pipes, a/c, tuner, and dyno, it was about $1700.00 and a day's worth of sitting at the stealer to get it all done. Very happy with the sound, though. Loud, good pops when you want it, and pretty throaty.
