I have the mods that are listed below in my Sig line on my '06 RK but would like a little more noise from the exhaust than what the current SE Pro Performance 2 piece mufflers are giving me. They sound pretty good at open throttle but are too quiet for me at idle or cruising. Looking to do this on the inexpensive (i.e. cheap) side so what do you guys recommend or have tried that you like? Should I modify the baffles that are in the current mufflers in some way or go for a different baffle all together? I would really like to do this without having to get another download as I am also looking at getting a PCIII sometime in the near future. TIA
Sorry man there was a company in Ct that did just that and you could swap out your stock exhaust for cheap with them. For a great sounding exhaust for like 150 shipped!! It was on two wheel thunder the TV show with Jay Barbarie a few weeks ago.
just put some klock werks slipons on my glide and turned out real well. but i did consider the ones jay mentioned also. type in american customs exhaust and you can find a link. also they have a vid on youtbe as well you can find by typing the same thing in. so many choices it will drive you nuts.
I have the solution to your problem. I have the SE slip ons and they are not loud at all. What I did was take the baffles completely out and installed the header pipe baffles from Big City Thunder. You will not be disappointed, its a simple configuration and easy installation. Check out the website and give them a call. www.bigcitythunder.com
