I just got done Installing mine on my 2000 RKC. Its raing like hell Ill let you know how it does for a stock bike........I was told to get it befor my pipes and mufflers so I dont have your problem.
It should not pop at all. You might have to download another map or take it to a tuner.

I think everyone I know with Rineharts has a certain amount of it. I tried several thing on the 05, I think the air temp has a bit to do with it also.
When you change your setup you will need to download a new map.

If you are getting a lot of decel popping, the PC may not be the answer. Typically that comes from an exhaust leak or an intake leak around the air cleaner. You may want to check that first.
As far as making the bike run cooler, a Fuel management system will provide more fuel and cool of the bike it will also give you more performance.

After years of hearing complaints about decel-popping I must confess that I still don't understand it. I've never had it, except as mentioned below, even though I'm running very lean values at 0% TP (-10 or even leaner). I recently did have -25 at 2000 RPM @ 0% that did induce a pop or two as I entered that range, but changing it to -15 fixed the problem. Some people need to use positive values (5-10) to get rid of the popping, and makes me wonder about the leakage factor.
Jamie at Fuel Moto once told me that exhaust leakage was the cause of some if not most decel popping, but I once had some Rush mufflers installed and the right one never did fit right. It always leaked but I still didn't get any popping. Maybe the leakage issues involve the exhaust pipe at the head where air enters more upstream.

Rineharts are all I've ever run, and I've never had decel popping. If you're getting that something's wrong with your set-up.
A properly tuned bike should not have any popping on decel. Bike needs some kind of fuel management device. I have used Jamie and Fuel Moto in the past on other bikes and have been satisfied with their service and the maps they provide. You and your bike will be much happier.
I'll second what 2WheelGlider said in recommending Fuel Moto. To me that pairing (PCV & FM) is the best investment among all the tuner options on the market. They will provide an accurate map created on a like bike with like hardware and will upgrade it if you upgrade your configuration (cams, etc.). For $300 this is a genuine bargain, IMO.
I've worked with FM for 3˝ years since the PCIII days and have gone through a PCIII, a PCV that was later upgraded to Auto-Tune. Their customer service is second to none, and I've never felt that this bike needed a dyno-tune, which has been a real cost-reducer. In fairness to the pro tuners out there, there are certainly cases that will benefit from a dyno-tune and FM doesn't have maps for every conceivable combination of parts, but IMO the vast majority of configurations will not need a dyno-tune with a PCV from Fuel Moto. BTW, you also get a double-warranty (2 yrs.).
I've had 3 PCIIIs on past bikes, and have a PCV on my 09 ultra. I've gotten everyone of them through fuel motto, and I have never once gotten less than outstanding service. Do it...as someone else said, it's not going to make your bike jump out from under you...but it will run cooler (a BIG plus for me living in the middle of the Mojave desert), and will perform a little bit better.
