If you are getting a lot of decel popping, the PC may not be the answer. Typically that comes from an exhaust leak or an intake leak around the air cleaner. You may want to check that first.
As far as making the bike run cooler, a Fuel management system will provide more fuel and cool of the bike it will also give you more performance.
