Power Commander worth it?
I have a 05 classic. With the true duel rhineheart pipes and a screaming eagle intake i get alot of backfire when i let off the throttle.
Will a power commander take care of the backfiring? Do you notice any more power?

I just sold an 05 RKC with Rineharts and a SErace tuner. It ran great and always poped on the decel. When it started to pop all the time it was a loose head pipe. Corrected that and it still popped on decel. Today I installed Rinehart Extreme True Duals on my 2010 EGC a Big Sucker AC and a Power Comander V. Runs great. But guess what, still pops on the decel. I think everyone I know with Rineharts has a certain amount of it. I tried several thing on the 05, I think the air temp has a bit to do with it also.

Jamie at FuelMoto can fix your 'problem'!!
I just installed a PC-III this morning on our 'bagger'! (V&H True-Duals, Samson 1 3/4" mufflers and S-E Stage 1 A/C)...plug 'n play. It took longer to remove the bag & cover and replace them than to do the install!!!
Had the same 'problems'...backfire on decelleration, hot motor, lack of low end power.
S/O & I went for a 200 mi. shakedown ride and the difference is unreal!!! It wont jump out from under you, but the difference is quiet noticable. Better sound too!!
Was told by an indy 'tuner' yesterday that it would cost an additional $400 to get it 'right'!! I'm thinking they (FM) got it damn close right out of the box!!! That's the best $300 I've spent in a long time!!!
