Hi! I bought all of my GPS equipment from ebay. You will need the cradle that holds the Garmin Quest 1 or 2 and slides into the existing mount. You will also need the cable that plugs into the mount portion and then into the radio. You need this cable if you want to hear the directions out your stereo speakers on your UC.

You can mount virtually any battery or 12v powered GPS to your motorcycle. This is my Magellan Roadmate. Go to http://www.cyclegadgets.com/ and find the mount for your favorite GPS. Purchase another cigarette lighter power cord (got mine from ebay), remove the cigarette lighter plug and wire it to your motorcycle. I suggest you use an inline fuse too.

If wired into the Ultra Classic with intercom, will the voice directions also play in the headset? in addition to the speakers?

What you need to mount the Garmin Quest (the same as the HD GPS without the HD name)or Garmin Quest II is a cradle. The GPS fits in the cradle and the cradle slides into your fairing mount. This cradle can be purchase at HD for $100 or it can be purchased directly from Garmin for $33.00. Exact same piece.
