Correct.. The IPod nano would be connected to the front USB port. My Sony MP3 player is connected at the AUX plug-in. I will search for some transfer files. Thanks...

It would be kinda nice to thumb thru songs if the mood strikes. Also, can songs from a MP3 player be transferred over to the IPod as a lot of my tunes were cleaned out of my computer awhile back. Thanks for any info ...
I have a kenwood head unit with USB IPOD interface. on mine, left handlebar switch controls vol up/down, and pause off/on. right switch controls input (cd-am-fm-ipod, etc) and song scroll up/down. I can search playlists, etc using the radio ****. I can program my head unit so I either use the ipod controls or set it to control it from the radio.

No supplier will give you Ipod control through a 3.5mm connector (Aux) as the relevant data is not carried down that line

You can only control the volume through the hand controls. I keep my ipod in the windshield bag, makes it very easy to switch songs if need be.

On this set-up, you can control all of the features on the " touch screen " also !!

your kenwood manual should let you know whatcan be controlled via a remote I assume you are using a biketronics kit or hawg wired for the radio interface but you should be able to control tracks up and down for more you may have to use the radio itself

The local audio shop installed the stereo for me. I am using the steering wheel interface thru my factory audio controls. I am thinking the left will control volume and right will control song up/down and modes. That will be just fine by me as my aux input/mp3 only has volume control.
