Getting poor gas mileage and some exhaust popping--not much. But runs great. I have the feeling it was never remapped when the V&H rolled ovals were added by the previous owner.
Rather than just pay the $ to remap once, I intend to add a tuner.
It will go on my 03 SERK . . . not sure which way to go, PCV Retro (without or with AT?) or Screamin Eagle Race Tuner?
Before you go the PCV retrofit route, (presumably through fuel moto) talk to them to find out exactly what maps they have for your bike. I have an 07 RK police with the 103, and the only maps they have for my application are for stock cams. I also had some problems getting the autotune system to work with the stock exhaust crossover, and when I changed cams, my fuel map was way way off. I finally had to change exhaust systems to get it all working properly.
If I'd have known all that going in, I would have just gone with the tts system.
i had a pcv, it was okay. then i installed a sert. i'm sold on the sert, although many will debate it vs a pcv. i'm very happy with the sert, and a dyno tune is imperative vs a canned map.

I totaly agree with emwolb. no two engines are alike and a canned map will only get you close. The only way to get the most out of a fuel management system is to have, whichever you chose, dyno tuned. I am totaly satisfied with my SERT, not to mention the 50mpg I get out of it crusin on the hiway.
