My friends Ultra Classic(May 2005 model - 103"ci) is having a problem with the alarm. It will not disarm the alarm. Of course we tried changing the batteries in the fob key but we still encounter the same problem.
What is going on? Do I need to change a specific part or the whole alarm? Or is it just a matter of settings?
I would pull the 30 amp main fuse, count to 10 and reinstall. Alarm might reset itself just like rebooting a computer. If that don't work maybe somebody else has better ideas.
Oddly enough, I had the opposite problem when I bought my new to me '05. The fob would not activate the alarm. After a bit of checking the dealer said GUESS WHAT, there is not an alarm on this bike. I had a fob but no alarm!
