Default Cup holder?

Out of curiosity does anyone make a saddle bag with a cup holder inside it. Rolling through Taco Bell today for some lunch after the gym made my think of it. I have seen the Hoppe side cover but an inner one might be even nicer.

Not that I've seen but I would recommend giving Captain Itch a shout. I personnally have not purchased anything from him but have heard alot of good things about his work and he is a sponser here. Lots of nice stuff on his site also.

Just curious! How are you gonna get the drink while riding?

i'm sorry, but i just can't help it. if you've seen the movie "waterboy" with adam sandler in it, the goofy guys had hard hats that hold two cups or cans with a tube to the mouth. i can just see it now. riding along the interstate, cruise control set, some zz top on the stereo, just a sippin' away. rk scooter, harley makes an insulated bag that is supposed to carry 12 cans of whatever you want, but actually i can get 6 cans in it when i put in the blue plastic freezer thingies in it. it is slanted so it fits into the harley saddlebag and is useful sometimes. are you wanting a holder that would clamp to the lid of your saddlebag? if all else fails, those hard hat things aren't hard to find.

I have a leather water bottle holder with storage on my bike now. I use it pretty much use it all the time. It saves the hassle of having to stop and get something to drink all the time

More just for getting it where ever I'm going. But emwolb has a good idea too.

I was thinking on the inside of the bag so the cup/bottle would sit at a bit of an angle. Kinda like taking the hoppe holder and moving it inside.

I'm thinking of strethced bags as a possible winter project and this would be a nicety if it could be had. Might just have to fab one up myself somehow.

I've played around with this myself, for what you said - get a drink where you're going without spilling, not for drinking en route. Mostly getting my morning coffee to work. Didn't want a cupholder hanging off my handlebars, either.

Best solution I've come up with are window cupholders (i.e., one designed to hang on your open window) hooked over the interior wall of your saddlebag. The bag lid holds it in place well when latched. Cheap, too.
