Joe from the Powder Pro (forum sponsor) posted some pics a few weeks ago of my 9 spoke Road King wheels that he had powder coated, polished, and cleared for me. I finally got them mounted up with new Metzeler WWW tires, new rotors and pads and put on the bike yesterday. I think they look really nice with black and chrome bike. The black spokes, polished rim, and white wall catches my eye too. Just wanted to share some pics of the final results.
I like'm, and am looking for someone to powder my 08,RG rims to insall on my 08 classic. I am thinking black with a white rim,as the bike is white trim in black.
As I already have the Elite 3, maybe the white rim and with a white brake disc.
Thanks for the pic......Tenn.Vol.
Looks great, what's the going rate to have a pair of rims powdercoated these days?
I got in on Joe's "tax season special" earlier this year. Don't hold me to this, but I think he said the wheels would be about $80 for just powder coat and I'm not sure what the non special price is. The polish work bumped mine a bit higher. All I know is it was a ton cheaper than having them chromed, and I have something different than everyone else around here.

Sean actually did the polish work. They then cleared/sealed the whole thing so I shouldn't have to polish them again.
