Small california duster and spray mist detailer and as far as stains on exhaust 000 fine steel wool will make it look like new no scratches

I don't really worry about it when out on the road...I'm not looking to impress anyone...Once home it gets a good bath and detail and looks new once again.

Agree with dailydriver, when I travel I take a wierd pride in the dirt, when i get home I take the same pride in the wash, wax, and detailing.

On the road ask your hotel/motel for a couple of their old used towels. They use 'em for cleaning rags. Fill a waste basket with water & give the bike a quick sponge bath first thing in the morning. It won't be "detailed", but it'll look good on the road.

Keeping the bike clean is the old ladies job. If she wants to ride she had better learn to clean.

On trips I acually save space for a kit of cleaning material. While traveling I look for motels that have a garden hose and access to a water source. The T-bag on the tour pak rack is usually reserved for the bike cover, rags, liquid soap, dirty clothes and anything else I can put in it.
