Using the Search, that's like not calling your Doctor and "Googlingling" your sysmptoms to find the cure...
I like to talk to the Dr. and ask my question, even if the Dr. has heard the same question a million times... cause you never know, somebody may have some better insight....like maybe a new Dr. just came on board with some new stuff....
I think there's an art to using the search function effectively, and apparently I'm no artist. I usually end up with pages of posts that don't pertain to my question, and it takes forever to weed thru them all....
i try to use the search feature when possible, but often end up with 'results' that have absolutely nothing to do with the answer i'm looking for. Or, the information that does come up is so old, starting a new thread is the only way to get 'more current', or up to date responses.

There is an art. I find that if I scroll down to the bottom and check "show posts" instead of "show threads" it will narrow it down quicker. It's even faster if I know the author of what I am looking and put that in as well.
That and those that seem to believe the the solution to any issue posted is to tell the OP to buy and read the manual. The manual is good, but hearing from some 'real' person that has 'been there and done that' is always helpful to me as a fairly inexperienced HD wrench turner.
Haha some good natured humor. Don't worry someone will come by and **** on the parade. I got scolded for calling him a search ****. Lol. IT WAS AN ATTEMPT AT HUMOR. Lmao.
I had a list of all the forum types. I'll see I can find it. It's sure to insult someone.
