It's an 08, tire pressure is good, fork oil was just changed when the Yaffe bars were installed. Someone mentioned weight on the rear end, my bags were full, that may have had something to do with it. I'm bringing it down to have the bearings checked.
Do you know for sure oil was put in both fork legs?
The worst wobble I ever experienced was when a seal on a fork tube on my Trident had gone bad, and over time I lost a little oil every time I hit a bump. I was giving my daughter a ride (extra weight, as you just mentioned), and suddenly found myself in a tank slapper. When I checked everything over, I found that tube had no oil at all.
My 2009 SG has a 70 mph wobble on a freeway s curve, on my route to work, that is started by a small expansion joint in the road. I CAN strong arm it or power on to stop it.
I think I covered most of the bases looking for a cure since it did not do this 5000 miles ago. It does have the complimentary Dunlop 408 on the front that I believe needs to go.
i just had my forks replaced with chrome ones so i will have everything checked out. I used to race up at loudon NH and have seen that wobble on the track with other riders and a lot of the time it's in a corner causing them to high side. I do believe that the bike is just not made to take corners that fast and high siding on a SG is just something i never considered.
