I have a 2010 UC, I don't ride my bike that hard, but when I do go into some highway curves at highway speed, I feel a pulse in the bars (I guess like a wobble). I have noticed that if I go mountain riding, the pulse lets me know when I am going too hard. When the wife is with me, I usually get slapped before the wobble.

Since it is an 08 I would try a stabilizer, especially if you ride hard, which is sounds like you do. Check the neck bearings and fork oil and then work on weight distribution. A friend of mine had his start drifting from the back on a wide sweeper at 90+, 940 shock, progressive mono shocks on the front and a stabilizer fixed her up just fine. Kind of sucks you got to spend a thousand to get her right, but that is why the completely redesigned frame.

As for those guys who say slow down it is not a canyon carver etc etc.
Disregard. Any way you look at it you should be able to safely ride twisty roads till the floorboards drag. I had a wobble on my 09 RG coming down a mountain at 80 + mph with the wife on the back. Had the bearings adjusted and now I have no problems. I love riding the twisty roads hard also, that is where the fun begins for me. Touring is fine, but running hard through the corners is what brings a smile to my face.

+1. I'm pretty sure you were asking for "mechanical solution no a maternal one". I have to agree with hot95hog if don't have the marbles to hit hard then don't it's not for you. If you do and you can handle it have fun. Canyons were meant running hard. Highways and byways were meant for sightseeing. Hope you find the solution. Let us know how it works out.

For what it's worth, when it's your time, it's your time don't matter if it's taking shower or scraping boards. Your number comes when your number comes.

if you do that enough times you wont have to worry about a stabilizer bar or much more for that matter.

I used to love pushing my 08 Ultra thru bend at 70 mph then experienced the wobble. Took fellow HD forum brother/sisters advise. SLOWED DOWN. "Stupid is as stupid does"

Accelerating works well to get out of that wobble. Just roll on the throttle and hang on. Chances are you will never have to worry about the wobble ever again.

Damn boy are you a idiot? Slow down and enjoy the ride. Your heading for a early death.

At that speed, were the floorboards scraping? If you were going fast enough and scraped a "hard" part such as the frame, that would lift the front end of the ground and could cause the wobble. On a 08 and earlier, I would definately have to look at one of the stabilizers. I also enjoy a "brisk" ride through the twisties, sometimes to much.

Scraping a hard part of the bike through the corners can really make for a bad situation.

I grew up riding the crotch rockets and finally had to learn, no matter how hard I tried, I could not make my bagger handle like one...
