Everyone on this site has raved about the website for Wally's Cycle World. So far my experience with them as been awful. I had to return what I purchased with them and even paid to return the catalog because I don't want to deal with them again. I find myself having to deal with them again since they sent me in-store credit only instead of refunding my money as promised. And the last customer service rep I spoke with was extremely rude.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced any similar problems?
I've never had any problem with them.Prices are good.
If you read their policies here it states:
All sales are final. Should you need to return an item, you may do so for In-Store Credit ONLY. This credit does not expire. There may be a restocking fee of approx. 10 to 20%. Special orders are not returnable for any reason.
The terms of sale are posted on the website so it's the consumers responsibility to either agree to those terms or do business elsewhere.
wally sent an e-mail to me saying that he would credit the card. the request was processed for a part for a different bike , that is why.if he was the last place to order from i'd ride a stock bike. i own a buisiness and you can't be nasty to people, it doesn't work.
If you need parts... go to www.mandmcycles.com You will not have any problems from Mark and Linda, and they will match other merchants for almost anything. I have been shopping with them for three years and have not had one bad event yet. They are WAY cheaper that the H-D for goodies and you can't go wrong with good customer service.
Even if you didn't read the return policy and they won't issue you a refund there is no excuse for poor customer service. There is a polite way to say everything and if you deal with customers you need to find the correct way to say things. No one made you take a customer service job.
I ordered the temp gauge from them without a problem, and just last night I ordered a Primary Chain adjuster. Actually spoke to someone and was treated decently
Shame you had a issue, life is limited to the choices we have
Too bad you had a problem with Wally's. I ordered a couple of big items from the site and had no problems other than a manufacurer backorder. Wally's followed up on that backorder for me then overnighted the package as soon as they had it. I will go back without hesitating. Wally's was good to me.
