Default old posts I know

but I don;t know where your getting your interstate batteris from, but I always get between 4-6 years out of them, in fact I usually just buy new ones at year 5 like we do in our cars, being from fl might be part of the reason not having extreme cold temps and the bike sitting for 6 month;ls out of the year (ok well some of our bike sit for longer than that)

but I put interstates in all our customers as well, have been using them atg least 20 years now

The stock battery in my ultra was changed this spring, it wasn't that bad, but I thought I had got my moneys worth out of it.

Got to ask: why the compression releases on a bone stock '06 SG?
Never had any negative issues with Interstate Batteries. Always get 5-6 years out of them. I always buy the gel battery - they last much longer than lead acid.

LOL
That's a joke.
The bike has 10.5:1 compression.

interstate makes a great battery, that said, it can go bad, but I would check for a draw on the system, before putting any battery back in permanently. easy to do only take a few minutes, can have a bad regulator staying awake to kill the battery
