Ok, I need some information, I have a 2007 Ultra Classic and I feel wobbling in the front and the rear. I also feel as though my bike is drifting on curves.
I was at the stealer today looking add ons and I mentioned to the service manager that my bike was not feeling right after having it go down 3 months ago. He asked me about tires etc. I was like you guys did the freaking work, but I answered his questions.
I mentioned to him that I was going to purchase a Progressive Link Stabilizer and he said to me DONT DO IT, it will make the bike to ridged and the rubber mounted engine will not work properly.
Now to my question, should I put the link on, does what he said makes any sense or was he just blowing smoke up my rear. He said I should bring the bike to them to see if it needs adjusting or tightening up.
My 07 Ultra use to have a wobble. But once I switched to Dunlop E3 tires and also changed the stock rear shocks to Progressive 412 12.5 inch shocks. No more wobble, bike is stable at 70 mph going thru a turn that it use to wobble at 60 mph with the stock D402 tires and stock rear shocks.
I have the Progressive Link and I feel some vibration in my floorboards after the install. Bike rides fine...might try new tires and shocks then remove the Link and see if I like how it handles.
