to much techno, just figured out why all the kids are waering this funny blue thing in there ear.some one showed me how theres works and am interested but no use for at the pressent. do carry a pay as you go phone around occationally especially for trips. I put 500 min on phone for 50bucks annually on it and it usually lasts a year! more of an emergancy/convienients thing. phone also acts as a portable phone book.
my car has a built in speaker phone via onstar. imo onstar is a waste and built in phone is an even more expensive waste. now thats were a bluetooth or equivalent could be worth it(in car).
Bluetooth is a great option and the sound quality is fine. However I agree with the why take a call when you are riding that can always wait until the ride is over.
interesting in that i use the bluetooth in my car, as it's part of the Garmin Zumo GPS system. When i add it to the bike by way of the Zumo (not the H-D system), i would only use it to tell me that someone has called. In a nutshell it will display who called and i would just ignore the call, or get it during my next stop. I really doubt i would be needed to answer that quickly.
For someone who is on-call tho it would be pretty neat.
