Default Has the fatboy lost the cool factor

Just curious as to if the fatboy has been overtaken by the Street Glide ..... Sales , popularity , the bike to own , the reason i ask is there seems to be a drift away from the Fatboy and more to the Street Glide on the questions being asked ..... or is it the fact it's the best of both worlds .... Cool , practical in fact a bike placed between the Fatboy and Ultra Classic ..... As here in England it still seems to be second to the Fatboy ..... Just askin

Does it really matter. Do you want to ride what you like or what others like?

When the Fatboy Lo came out, I thought it wouldve been nice to have rather than the Fatboy I already have, but now that everyone has one, I'm glad I kept mine.

Riding allows for expression of individualism, so why worry about what's popular?

I don't think he is worried, just courious. Its a fun question to ponder.

I look at the question like this, if they were to make Terminator 2 today, would Arnold be riding the SG?

If I were to buy a soft tail, It would be a Fat Boy. But I wanted to look cool and have the ability to travel. It can be done on the Fat Boy, but it is a lot easier on the SG.

Have both a Fatboy and a street glide so I guess covered either way. Honestly I like the glide but LOVE the Fatboy.

i dont think the fatty has lost it, just so many killer rides to ride today. i ride a street glide cause it still looks cool with the tunes also but ive said it before if i was to get a second bike i would try to find a fatboy around 04 or 05. my 04 hands down the best riding bike ive owned. the one i think i regret letting go.

No way. I just traded my Fatboy in on a SG but I would buy another FB in a second. Still one of the coolest bikes in the Harley line.

I agree with Frozensoul. I miss my 04 Fatboy but love the 09 SG. Maybe we are all getting a little older.
