Default Air buffeting problem question.

Has anyone solved the bad air flow problem around the front fairing on the 2009 or 2010 street glided. I got some air deflectors on mine and it is still pretty bad.

Have you tried the Fork Air Baffle?

It doesn't solve the problem completely but does help some.

I have done a lot of experimenting with the breeze and although I have lowers on my bike the best device I have found to cut the wind from beneath the fairing are the batwing side deflectors. Of course you said you already have those and to no avail. The only thing I can say is that it may be possible the 4" windshield my change the equation a bit. I have a 9" windvest and I have almost no wind at all on my body even at 70mph. When its hot I wish I had more airflow but when it's cool it's perfect.
I also have a fork air baffle but am not convinced it does a thing.

I got that on the recommendation of a salesman and it has helped quite a bit.

Ask a buddy if you can borrow his lowers for a test ride.
I bet you buy a pair.

If you are still using the stock windshield - replace it with at least a 6-8" unit. One's with the flipped - turned up top edge work real good. Save the 4" stock blade for cruise night or for pictures - it's not much use on the road.

The wind will rip your glasses right off your face, and bounce your head about so much you can't see straight.

I took the lowers off of my Ultra last week for the 1st time and couldn't believe how much it changed the air flow. Lots of swirling and helmet movement Fortunatly it doesn't bother me, just reminds me of my old Road King.
My point is that lowers might be for you.

That's hard to do with a later model 6 gallon tank.

I recommend using a shield from customflhshields.com
if you are thinking in that direction, they are about 4"
wider and come in different heights and tints, I LOVE MINE!!!
