Trailer week at Sturgis
Have you done a 9,000 mile ride to the Arctic Circle in 14 days?
Have you done a 4,000 mile ride Key West by way of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway and the Everglades?
Have you covered 4,000 miles 12 states in the West and Southwest?
Have your ridden 2,000 to Sturgis 6 times?
Have you done the 2,000 ride to Daytona Bike Week?
Have you done the 1,500 mile ride to Myrtle Beach?
Have you done the Auburn Bike Event in Indiana?
Have you done the J&P event in Iowa 6 times?
Have you done the 3,200 Lauflin River Run 3 times.
Just how many of the States and Canada have you covered?
That is just in the last 6 years. I started when I was 15 and have had over 30 motorcycles. I'm 70 now and don't plan on stopping until I have covered every state and all of Canada. Next year will be the Pacific Coast Highway from Canada to Mexico. The plan for the following year is to circumnavigate the Great Lakes and do the Northeastern States.
If you can match that then I might give some consideration to the merit of your position on trailers.
Now, just what is you motorcycling resume? Or do you just ride around town?
15-20k miles/year.
1k miles one way to Moonshine Lunch Run every year. (Illinois in early April) Usually rains and sometimes snows!
2-3 trips a year to see family in CO.
Been to Daytona many times. Go for the race, don't like rally crowds.
Indy MotoGP every year
Leaving in 3 weeks for CO,WY,ID,MT,WA, ~6,500 miles in 21 days.
Numerous IBA rides, SS1k, BB1500
Started riding street bikes in 1981 and have racked up ~250k miles so far.
Ridden in NC, SC, GA, FL, VA, W. VA, OH, IN, IL, MO, KS, LA, TX, CO, NM, UT, ID, WY, MT, WA, ND, SD, MN, WI, MD, KY, AL, MS, AR and probably a few others that I don't recall right now.
Now I feel so much better that you might consider me a rider, although I could really give a rats ***?
P.S.- Haven't been to Alaska, Canada, or Mexico yet. But I've still got 20 years before I get as old as you are?

I've been to Laconia many times and it was always fun. I'm sure Sturgis is much bigger/more intense

If we all had to do the exact same thing... we'd be living in 1950 Russia.
