Who cares what everyone thinks. I'll shoot you a pm.

No offense to those that posted and have pictures of their rides w/flames, but those are not ghost flames. You damn sure almost never really notice ghost flames unless you're up close and personal. Hence the term "Ghost Flames". What you do have is a nice flames w/or without skulls.

Cyphilis, I damn glad you didn't do the true fire on my ride. 40 hours??? WTF!!

Granted I took my fairing, boxes etc myself. Took maybe what?? 1 1/2 hours to do. Got it the shop had em back in less than a 2 days. Now everyone reading this knows why some people pay so damn much money for airbrushing. HOK was the paint and clear used. So yeah.....

Not all shops do work by the hour. Some do it by piece or some plain old figure out how much they need to pay certain bills and thats what you get charged. If you have tape lines that are that thick and built up especially on ghost flames, maybe you should stick to painting houses. A good artist can free hand traditional flames faster than the time it takes to vector out, cut, peel and stick vinyl. It's the taping and paper behind it that takes a little longer.

Sand paper, tape, buffing compounds, paper. Don't cha kinda buy that chit in bulk? Yes it's an expense but you not something you would over charge a customer like you're suggesting. You sure you didn't work for Earl Schieb?

Oh yeah.... I do some airbrushing on the side. Opps did I forget to mention that earlier??? Not a pro by any means but I know the costs for materials and the skills/work involved. Just saying.
