Default Clutch problem

I posted the other day about the need for a new clutch cable said the one I had was screwing me up. Well here's an up date. I ordered a cable +2" from the dealer for some reason the parts guy, not the guy I ordered it from changed the order to a slandered size 62 11/16". Well being a newbie I tried putting it on not knowing was going great till it wouldn't fit. So then I measure and sure enough screw up. This time I ordered a +4 so I can have a little extra routing option and pull back the bars a touch. So I go and measure the old one that an Indy in the area put on when he changed my bars (Oh I have a nice chrome braided one that I can put on for a good price, it will fit those chubby 575 perfect). It was a 72 incher no wonder I was having a hard time adjusting it it was maxed out a +10. Well now I wait till tuesday to get the cable and change it out. I'm really getting into doing my own work. Can't trust anyone but yourself. Tools I get as I need and the box is filling up nicely. And the manual of course.
Thanks for letting me vent
Ride safe.

Behind every successful project, is a pile of busted tools, incorrect parts and more parts you have no idea where they came from originally.

All part of the game!
