Does anybody know where I can get an extremely minimalist, (Less is better) front fender tip for my 10 Street Glide? I live on gravel, and the roads are so bad, it doesn't matter how slow I ride, ever try to ride 6+ miles at 25MPH, my front leading fender edge is taking a beating. I don't want a fender tip, but guess I need to do something. So its a minimalist tip, or any other ideas you might have? Open to suggestions? Please.

One of our sponsors could invent a leather fender bra that you could use until you got to the end of the driveway and then take it off and throw it in your bag.

Go with the "raw" bare steel look (after market and unpainted) Then, if desired, you could slowly replace all your tins with matching "raw" steel look.

Visit a local auto parts store. They usually have several styles of trim for door edges and such.

I tried this and it looked like dog doo. I then thought I would just use it to get off of the road then pull them and store in saddle bags. The push on and off is having as negative effect as the chips in some regards.

You might go to your HD dealer and look at the clear coating they offer for the tops of saddlebag lids to protect them from boots. I just happened to notice the little display they keep on the shelf near the parts checkout register and it was virtually invisible and looked like a quality product. I can't remember what it was called but it's very similar to this. http://www.jpcycles.com/product/830-...utm_medium=cse

Would a FatBoy front fender be too 'big' for you? H-D makes a 'kit' to mount one on your bike. You could always cut on old fender back to your liking, I guess.

I believe my Street Glide fender is actually larger than a fat boy fender?? But I could be mistaken?
