I wondered this when I got my current '05 Glacier White Ultra. I wanted a white bike but preferred the EGC over the Ultra but it wasnt' available in white. Every part is already made in Glacier White but they couldn't assemble me one. We sat down with the list of all the bikes they were getting for the next 4 months and they could change any of them (with reasonable notice) to any color I wanted so long as it was an EGC color. Hell the only difference is the lights in the trunk and I'm sure that's not a big deal to leave off.
I'm sure there are many customers who would pay extra to get a bike in any available model color.
Did that make sense???

Your local friendly dealer will be more than happy to make the bike exactly like you want it before delivery.
Whether its motor, chrome or paint...........just ask, but be ready with a boatload of $$$$$$
