Have you checked out the Wild Chubby's 8.5" Baby Ape?
Really comfortable bar on the RG.
I'm thinking way too much pullback on a short bar......maybe WO612, thats 5 inches more pullback than stock but maybe I could run them closer to the angle of the front end or even more straight up.
ps
nice scoot.

Hey FLoTR, just a quick not about my recent experience with Wild 1 bars...I have an '09 Road King (nobody's happy with the stockers on that bike). I called them up and told them my issue, I'm sure not unlike anybody else out there. I wanted to buy a set of "blemished" bars, which are generally priced at about $50 cheaper than not. The guys at Wild 1 were super cool, and suggested this: I buy the blemished bars, which were not in stock, and they will send me the first set that becomes available, including the shipping cost. OR, I buy the not-blemished bars, which were in stock, and they cover the shipping cost. I opted for the second option, and I ended up spending about $25 more than I would have if I waited for the blem bars. Whichever you choose, (and it's a tough choice), I certainly recommend the boys at Wild 1. GOOD LUCK, Sir.
