These numbers sound about right except for the fully restored. Running and all original probably 15k maybe a little more if in great condition. Fully restored a little less.
absolutely. Keep it original if at all possible. A little patina on the bike is a good thing. They're only original once.
Could be a fun winter project, that's for sure. Numbers vary, and it depends on how bad someone wants it. You may just find someone that has to have that year, model, and color as is, due to sentimental reasons, and then you never really know.
Good luck getting anything like the prices that these morons have been posting. I mean WTF, Is it made of gold or something. Opinions are just that. Their like A-holes, everybody's got one. I saw a post recently that had a link to a Sixty-eight on Ebay that only sold for Sixty-seven hundred, and it looked great.
Good luck with it whatever you choose to do! As much as I would like to have an oldie such as that, the future for mine is a rat bike. No not a built one, just slowly become one naturally over the next Twenty years.
It would be a wonderful thing if you just kept it and made it what you wanted.
My $0.02
I'll be glad to haul if off for you for a nominal fee. You have a real find there, don't let anyone get to you on it. Clean it up, fix it up, ride it. That's the real deal.
Its pretty safe to say that several on this site will take this bike off your hands, I being just one of them.
If you dont want to mess with it, just post up a price, Im sure the bidding will begin, then at some point you will have some fresh cash in your hands, and someone will have a very nice project bike.
