I wouldn't even wash it at this point, if you are selling it. A couple more weeks of dirt won't matter when it has been..umm, collecting dust for years. Let an MC archeologist clean it up.
If it were mine I'd keep it and ride it. You can put a price on the bike but the cool factor of riding it would be priceless. You can't just run out to the dealer and get another one like it.
