Struggling ot understand....
What really troubles me in your case is that ABS light staying on. I would push hard on that one.
Good luck,
Murph
My time is valuable, my money hard to come by....shoddy workmanship isn't acceptable, neither are expensive yet poorly designed/manufactured parts.
Thanks for the good luck Murph, same back atcha.
Awww...sniffle.
I did my home work on it prior to buying. Either you're def dumb n blind or playing dumb on the issue, take your choice.
Either way, you can play that game all by yourself ty.
3000+ posts and you don't use search? Hmmmmm... some people remain "rookies" for a very long time apparently.
-I disagree with anyone that draws a relationship between quality and purchase price. I expect the same level of quality from a .06 oring as I do from a $25,000 Harley Davidson. I really wish everyone would stop using the "shouldn't you be able to expect better quality from a $25,000 purchase? Does that mean you can only expect a third of the quality from a Sportster????
-You've read alot of disturbing information regarding your FLH on this forum. There's a lot of quality information on this forum but before you you throw yourself off a cliff, keep in mind this forum, like all forums, represents a very small % of all bike owners. In addition, like all forums, members more likely post negative experiences than positive ones. Yes the occasional member will take the time to highlight a positive experience but that's not the typical post. Just human nature.
-And finally if you are looking for a guarantee that any product will not break down I'd suggest selling the Harley, your automobile, your refrigerator and any other appliance with moving parts you might own. They all have the potential to break down whether thay cost $2,000, $5,000 or $25,000. If it's any consolation, the Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar and Bentley dealers all have service departments and it's not only for preventative maintenance.
I hope you can learn to enjoy the motorcycle experience that I have enjoyed for the past 40 years. It's worth it.

or "noise". No real specific answer to what the mechanical problem with the compensator is. Sorry I asked a question you couldn't answer and you took offense to the point you felt you needed to give a smart assed answer. If you're going to be a part of this forum, you'd better get thicker skin or go to the back bedroom of your mommies single wide trailer, you know... the one with the purple trim... and play with your barbies.

As far as enjoying my rides, I do, or they get the boot. If it weren't for my motorsickles over the years, I'd be in the looney bin...lol

Glad your current scoot is treating you well!

I'll help the 3800+ posts Elite member rookie out: You, like i did, can begin reading here for startes... I would think you would be interested in the knowledge and doubt anyone has the time or desire to spend educating you on it when the info exists for those mature enough to invest a little effort. It's a lengthy read. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/searc...=5512581&pp=25
As for the rest of your obvious issues, again, you can play that game all by your lonesome.
Now grow some "thick skin" as you put it, drop the "rookie" elitist attitude and get your fingers dirty, or, keep letting your ego supercede your intelligence... your choice.
I'm stepping out of your passive agressive game.
