Default ACC switch wiring?

I have added a factory ACC switch from the battery to my lighter socket, so it can be hot or on when the bike is not. I ran a fused wire from the battery to the the switch and the lighter orange wire and to ground with the black wire. I have not done anything with the other orange wire. Now if I turn on the switch the green light does not come on unless I plug my phone charger in, and then it flashes as the phone charges. Do I need to use both orange wires to make the green light stay on when the switch is on? Thanks for any help on this!

I should add that I unpluged the factory lighter wires.

the light is probably not coming on until you plug your charger in because that is when it completes the circuit... unless you just need the light on (which will pull a drain on the battery at all times) i would not worry about it....

Also if I turn the switch on the lighter does not heat up or make the green light come on. I may have to ask my dealer about what wire does what on the ACC switch. There is one black and two orange wires.
