I second that! Snap-On!!!!!!! I have had one for 25 years and not one issue and still works like a new one. Don't buy the cheap crap. Will only cost you more once you replace it. I have used this one for many jobs and wouldn,t be without it. Walker was also a high quality jack but unsure if there still around.

Snap-On is has always been very good, but very pricey. I have 2 that have been used a lot, i have had them for a long time so they are older models.

Now all of their jacks are made in China; I'm sure they are still decent quality but are most likely just re-branded with a much higher price and you could buy the exact same jack without the snap-on sticker for a lot less elsewhere.

If I bought a new jack now it would be one of these: Hein-Werner They are made in usa, get good reviews, feel like quality and are even cheaper than one from snap on. Northern has the 2 ton model that is a little cheaper.

Make sure it is "Made in the U.S.A" .................I'll bet you have a hard time finding one.

I have a Lincoln that is no longer made but thier designs were apparently taken over by Hein Werner and still made in the USA.

Start hitting the auction sales, find a good old rebuildable jack.
I haven't seen a decent jack being sold new in years.

Don't forget jack stands if you don't already have.
Hyd Jacks aren't made to "park" a car on for any real amount of time...
