installing new rims selling old.

installing new rims this weekend any tips on install greatly appreciated.also selling 2-16"-chromed stock streetglide rims/2polished rotors/2-stock tires mounted $1000.

What set up are you going with on the new stuff? Most get a bigger front tire, that looks way better than stockl, then have to lower some to get it to handle better. Maybe end up getting new shocks too. I hope you get the ride and the look you are after. Please post some pictures when you get it all together.

21/18 setup dropping front 1" will post when done thanks. rode the chrome stocks for almost 4-years time to change.

I know a good indy wrench in Bellflower CA that would change your wheels & lower the the front end at the same time for a low price...

Cool, PM me if you want his #... great wrench that actully stands behind his work! Shop is at his house so low overhead equals low prices! Has done ALL the wrenching on my bikes for years.

Rome304, please let us know what the handling is like after you complete the mod. I have been researching this mod; and while I love the looks of the 21" front wheel, I really don't want to sacrifice a good ride and handling. I have heard that lowering the forks does help neutralize the loss in handling.
