After looking at the pictures in that link, I'm liking behind the left saddlebag more and more.
I'll probably have to loose the chrome cover, but that's not a biggie since it's all hidden and out of sight.

here is an idea ive seen,under the engine,it worked but after awhile it gets dirt..ect on it and is prone to malfunction.it was one of those 10$ auto part store veriaty.

Can't see that working out at all...............ground clearance is at a premium. Stick a horn under there and it's going to be problems for sure.

I tried behind the left saddlebag first, wouldn't clear the drive pulley once the shocks compress over a bump, etc. Thats the only reason I went with the right side, no issues clearing the brake rotor.

Default Will it fit will filler panel?

I would like hide the horn behind the sattlebag on my 08 Ultra and was wondering if it will work with filler panels being used?

The horn in the factory hides the sensors and wiring for the EFI between the front and rear cyclinder. If the horn is relocated, you are looking in at the sensors and wiring.

My horn without chrome cover and a homemade bracket fit in behind fuse panel on left side of bike.

I didn't think of the pulley vs. the rotor deal................might have to move to behind the right saddlebag.


How do you get enough access to under the battery box? The Mini-Beast is pretty big, so to squeeze it in, mount it, and have it secure would be tough without room to work.
